I wouldn’t use that many greater-thans, but I do agree that while I love Frozen just like any feeling human being should, Tangled does get the slight nod from me in this matchup.

Yeah, it’s an annoying caveat to any discussion of the prequels that we have to note TPM had this, the single best scene in any of them (and it’s not close, either).

I asked that elsewhere upthread too.  Yeah, that’s everywhere now (including games), but I can’t remember it anywhere earlier than this movie.

I’m trying to remember if I’d ever seen the “now you’re deaf/ears are ringing” thing during a battle scene before this movie.

I’d have to guess that they threw that line in for this very reason.

Absolutely, but Armageddon is a lot more fun.

(Obviously, the Deep Impact wave scene is by leaps and bounds the best disaster scene in either movie)
