Yes, I was coming here to say the same thing.  Fuck yellowjackets, and if the murder hornets agree to only decapitate yellowjackets, then I’m ready to declare them as allies.

Goddamnit, I’ve resisted to this point (no particular reason other than it’s certainly not a game I’m ever going to be able to play while the kids are awake), but they’re going to get me to buy this in the end, especially now that we can do endless Robocop vs. Terminator battles like I once did in my childhood head

After reading that, I really really really hope now that the Ultimate Song in Bill & Ted 3 turns out to be Tenacious D’s “Tribute.”

Although I’ll maintain that Deus Ex Machina is not applicable to a story that is almost entirely about a struggle between God and whatever his counterpart was.

Baggy sweatshirt, or extremely swole five-year-old?

It’s a very good thing in virtually every case.

And, if you can catch yourself in a transporter buffer loop, you can!

That article points to, and directly quotes, the source.  Which was the exact same CDC page that the idiot linked to in the first place, which explains that the number lags the most current data for a number of reasons.

It’s a way to try to get the attention of conservatives shrieking about how we must open now, damn the conseqences, or failing that, at least put out yet another reminder that despite their constant barking about the sanctity of life, they only actually claim to care about lives sometimes.

“Our counts often track 1–2 weeks behind other data for a number of reasons”

Seems like an important thing for you to have left out.

Antics?

I, for one, am ready for Taco Bell to assume total control of the restaurant industry.

I admire your restraint in writing this piece without once saying that such a reunion would be AMAHZING.

I realize the op couched it (appropriately) in very small terms, but let’s not give Pence any credit whatsoever for deliberately doing a very obviously stupid, stupid thing and then begrudgingly after much pushback offering the most mild of admissions several days later.  By the standards of the Trumpets, it’s

“There is no official burden of proof in the court of public opinion—you necessarily just over-cooperate to the extent necessary to demonstrate that you have nothing to hide and that the allegations are truly unsubstantiable.”

If you’re a Democrat.  If you’re a Republican, you do none of that shit and it works out

That’s great, and makes me realize I’d never read the novelization of this because it was a movie I was able to see.  As a kid in the 80s whose parents were definitely not on board with R-rated movies, I lived on the novelizations of things like Robocop, Terminator, Aliens, etc.

Leslie still has a job with the federal government in that universe, so it definitely wasn’t Trump.

Agreed, and they should do exactly that so that Andy can giggle when someone explains to him what that name means.
