It doesn’t seem to me like buying a brand and then almost immediately destroying all of its value, losing the entire staff, and garnering widespread publicity about it is particularly helpful for the long-term value of that brand, everything else aside.

It was up on at least some of the other sites as well.

The only explanation - literally the only one that we wouldn’t have been alerted to already with BREAKING NEWS reports and pre-scripted obituaries - is that someone, likely Ivanka, managed to wrestle his phone away from him all day.  That’s it.

People who tell Deadspin to “stick to sports” should themselves stick to masturbating furiously to 1987's Wall Street.

“Our lives begin to end when we stay silent about things that matter” - LeBron James, in times less affected by revenue, quoting someone whose belief in that line wasn’t affected by access to a market controlled by totalitarians.

“I have no idea, but that is just my belief.”

Ah, then who could possibly give a shit?

Oh yeah, true.  Never mind!

“The open base led to an intentional walk on Alex Bregman, and then, in the next at-bat, Altuve scored on a Zack Britton wild pitch—something that obviously couldn’t have happened if he hadn’t been standing on third.”

Not that I disagree about the prettiness, but wouldn’t he have been on third anyway because of the

I think it should be the headline.

And that’s a decent criticism, though I am fine with it personally.  Autogun aside, though, letting him return home one last time got us the great scenes once he returned with his wife and son, his former friends (and Badger/Skinny Pete), etc.  Hell, the scene with Skyler alone was worth it, because it basically

His cancer did in fact come back and was indeed mentioned again repeatedly, including in that sad little cabin where vacuum cleaner guy was giving him chemotherapy and he was coughing his brains out.

Similarly, I’d like every article about a coach bitching about paying players also include that coach’s current salary, contract total, and lifetime total pay as a coach.

When I was a kid, it was Pete Rose, so that, uh, didn’t work out so well in hindsight.

Consider anew how disgusting generational wealth is by remembering that Ann Richards was talking about Dubya’s father when she said that!

“Brain activity shows normal readings in the context of Bills fandom.”

Thus keeping alive Kent State’s 49-year streak without a serious incident.

Time to decide this once and for all: is the Rumble better than the Scamper?  I think so, but by a nose.

Thinking too little would definitely put one into the Trump voter camp.

A good reminder to always, always, always assume the worst of him, and you’ll either be right, or pleasantly surprised.

You are giving him far, far too much credit.
