"Leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe."
The Freys = the sheep
The wolf = the person who killed them
The bystanders at the massacre know this girl killed them, and that she said the wolf kills the sheep, and everyone knows that the wolves are the Starks.
Mayhaps the Frey women aren't educated in metaphor to…
they know the massacre happened. My question is how word that it was Arya didn't make it to them, given the fact that Arya did all but say, IT IS I ARYA STARK COME TO TAKE MY VENGEANCE.
Just because Dave Chapelle thinks sketch comedy is "a format he created" doesn't mean it is. It's been happening on stages, where Key and Peele started working, for decades before Chapelle's show. He's not even the first person to put it on TV.
Blame Rachel Ray.
1. Chicken fingers with fries and a veggie
4. A grilled cheese/something bland and vegetarian
2. Mini version of a menu item crowd favorite
3. Another mini version of a menu item crowd favorite
I don't challenge your facts here, but I do challenge the assumption of the restaurants and others that a more sensitive palate means most kids can't stand anything other than starch and cheese. There's ways to tone down a menu and have it still be healthy and varied.
I'm sure they do want things simpler most of the time. And I am sure that going out to eat with young kids is difficult for various reasons. But the things you like to eat are learned from exposure. And most of what kids are exposed to is their school cafeterias and TV commercials.
Maybe most kids refuse to eat anything other than potatoes and chicken nuggets and pasta because they're the only things they tend to be encouraged to eat and it's what they're now used to. And then they grow up into equally veggie-and-spice-averse adults. I knew multiple people in college who ate only Tyson nuggets…
Cersei and Jaime directly reference the massacre when we see them this episode. They're discussing they're allies and they point out they no longer have the Freys as allies cos they're all dead.
She indirectly did, though, as she referred to leaving one wolf alive. If the Starks are the wolves in this metaphor, and she is the one wolf…
Yeah but also Joffrey killed people with pleasure. Ollie did, too, but mostly due to mob mentality.
Also playing Tommen up to be a traitor. Because… he didn't allow a trial by combat, I guess? Jaime should see how quick Cersei is now to turn on even those she loves if she perceives a threat to herself. It's Cersei First after all.
Yes. And on screen. Years ago.
Oh don't worry, one of 'em showed up a few hours after you posted this comment.
Every preteen girl has been doing this their whole damn life. You can't even muster the will to try to do so.
Most people think of 'my Doctor' as the first one they started watching, but, while I love Tennant, I feel like Smith embodied that role so fully and made me believe that despite his appearance, his soul was ancient.
I haven't watched for two seasons and I might start catching up now. It's going to make up for any loss in sexist dorks by bringing some lapsed viewers back into the fray.
Every damn time, sometimes multiple times within seasons. Although if I remember correctly, it's the TARDIS herself that does much of it on her own accord, but in response to the Doctor's attitude.
I just want him and Brienne to spar. Can't she just do that much for him? It's practical!
