The Who was my first rock band I liked only because I heard the cast recording first :)

Agree with Nasir: it's appalling but very much in character: especially because it's Jane being defensive of her own struggles with religion that we see later. She's the protagonist, but she's flawed: and the show is more progressive than the main character's religious views.
Yeah, that was my thought. We never grew to care about either of Rafael's parents so it's sort of anti-climactic. But it could be good character stuff for him and Luisa.
It's fun but I think the fact that it is sort of "forced" doesn't bode super well.
Because Rebecca brought drama that Paula craved but that wasn't good for her. Sunil didn't.
She tried to be with Rebecca sans drama, but that wasn't really a thing that was happening.
But if alcohol's not good for you, it's ok to want to stay away.
I also thought, while a normal thing to yell at a teen, "One day I won't be here and you'll be sorry you said that" could easily be foreshadowing for a show this smart.
I have never seen the Mickey video and that was a TRIP.
fair. but that soudns pretty human to me.
oh, now i feel silly for thinking they added taps to the sneakers…
So they each had the parents the other one needed…but as adults. Ugh I love this show so much.
Most thought I had have been said, but I just wanted to show a little love for some small/supporting characters. Steve Proctor is just lovely: loved him ever since the rock-throwing antic. Sweet and compassionate and loving - just terrific. And have we every really acknowledged how amazing Heather is as a person? Greg…
The show is subversive. I'm kind of surprised this is the first time you feel pain or hurt from it. I've never seen anxiety so accurately conveyed.Oh, and the Bex-pregnancy is not treated as a joke, I don't think anything on this show is. It highlighted how far gone she is.
Everything else has been addressed but I would agree about Darryl except I thought he was so moving with Paula's party. He's so supportive. About Tap That Ass, most people have said my thoughts, but I like the idea of it being GOOD that it was uncomfortable. People with anxiety and depression are cruel to themselves.…
EXACTLY! it was a perfect homage.
But didn't she only need them BECAUSE of her own parentage? Mrs. Bunch and Mr. & Mrs. Heather are antidotes to each other.
Like Tiger, I LIKED the simplicity too! If you look at Singin' in the Rain, it's a straight-up homage to Moses Supposes, which is amazing but very casual. This is Gene Kelley, where Settle for Me is Fred Astaire. Plus, she's remembering them how they really were and the simplicity makes the number feel more of a…
I feel like her and WhiJo are the two supporting characters who actually have a lot (if not all) of their stuff together and give excellent advice in their maturity. Heather's lines about the fairytale stuff were AMAZING.
Bloom and McKenna have 2 more seasons plotted out! I'm sure he'll be back, just not in this season. It'll be ok!
