Absolutely. Season 1 was a superior story (over much of what you find in TV and film) which was made mediocre by a threadbare conclusion that did not deliver on the incredible richness of what had been a truly superb, mystery/thriller narrative.
Well, I DO want to watch again, but in the end, it seemed to come down to a very basic tale of a fairly stereotypical serial killer (and very cliche and Se7en inspired at that) surrounded by layers of confection.
Maslany is great; the show is not. But it's still entertaining enough, even though it's not well written. I hope Maslany gets opportunities on better shows/movies.
