I can’t decide which is worse. The President-Elect’s family thinking that their son MAYBE having autism is worthy of a defamation lawsuit, or the President-Elect’s family using intimidation tactics against an autistic teenager who was trying to convince people to leave their son’s behavior alone.

FUCK EVERYTHING

This seems like an ill-advised lawsuit. What would the charges even be? I don’t even understand. If he is on the spectrum, their grounds are completely unfounded, and it would be discovered almost immediately. If he isn’t, the video doesn’t claim that he is as a fact, so there is essentially no case?

I will never stand with hate and fear and injustice. But I will seek a thread, even a sliver, that connects us.

I’m sorry you cried again. Much love to you.

This was my morning as well. My five year old daughter crawled into bed and asked me if we could watch more election. I told her it was over. She asked who won. When I told her, she burst into tears.

I am sure that she is fine now, and won’t dwell like I have. But that was a gut punch for me. Especially because I

I live in Los Angeles. This morning was a sad, depressing time. My friend from Mexico sobbed into my embrace this morning in front of a room full of elementary school kids. My daughters’ morning care had a sign outside saying “Free Hugs.” Damn did we need it.

I’ve spent most of the day alternatively crying, making

I’m changing my Alexa’s name to Navi posthaste.

My Alexa turns my lights on and off for me. This alone is worth the price. Thanks, Alexa!

High school. Somewhere in the 1990's. I had been having stomach rumblings all day, but being in high school, I couldn’t possibly use the toilet for its intended purpose for fear of someone witnessing the fact that women and girls do, in fact, defecate. So, I held it in. All day.

You don’t have to convince me that John Prine is awesome. Hello In There is quite possibly one of the saddest songs ever.

Yes?

People who are sad - sometimes they wear a frown
And people who are kings - sometimes they wear a crown
But all the people who don’t fit
Get the only fun they get
From people puttin’ people down
People puttin’ people down

I’m a woman of the people.

ungray-ing you to have your words read ;)

People who like Dylan should automatically also like John Prine.

Agreed.

I love this story. Kids are fucking weirdos.

I will say that I know many parents who have always slept with their children since infancy, who are now having an extremely difficult time getting them to sleep on their own. I don’t really blame them for it. Parents are subjected to an enormous amount of pressure and judgment from everywhere.

I saw that!😂 No, it was in LA
