Starbuck's Mom

I agree with this, but things can get muddled in mom land. For instance, when I go out, due I varying obligations, it’s often with other moms. Partly because they are generally my main social group, and park because many of my childless friends just have totally different schedules and needs.

This post is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I can barely control my laughter and now my eyes are watering.

He did it twice in one game. Genius.

She is a disgusting person. A terrorist is apparently a messenger? Fuck her in her ear holes.

Many elementary schools are moving away from this kind of grading and it's awesome.

My five year old drew this

I am on board the kale hate train.

We have a family recipe that includes mayonnaise with lemon jello. Due to my partner’s refusal to eat it I made it this year with just whipping cream and omitted the mayo. Fwiw, it tasted the same. They mayo seemed to just add a slightly fluffier consistency.

The American Girl store itself is a nightmare. The dolls are amazing, and I buy as much as I can for my kids because my mother never let me have one. And I am making up for it god dammit.

I somehow managed to be sheltered from a lot of the LA crap - not sure why. I’ve lived her for 13 years and my mother still thinks LA is just a drive through stop on the way from San Diego to San Francisco that has no culture or anything of interest.

Thank you. Starbuck is my dog. But it’s also obviously a delightful reference to BSG. Though I am not an abusive nutbag.

Gratefully, I don’t seem to know anyone who seems overly concerned with this.

Oh, I’ve been there. Holy shit, it’s a nightmare.

I cannot even with this disgusting person.

Love the old Buildings there.

Where do you work? I live in Culver City. I never leave it because I hate traffic. Which is why I don’t know where Runyon is. And we come full circle.

I knew they were running test trains relatively recently, I thought it had opened already. Shows how much I go to the beach from Culver City.

I don’t even know where Runyon Canyon is. Someone give me my walking stick and a rocking chair to yell at kids from.

I would walk to the Grove, too, if I could. I take my kids to the mall near us like 4-5 times a week because I don’t know what else to do with them some nights.

I love the Farmer’s Market, and I can appreciate some of the commercial nonsense of the Grove. My kids love when it snows at Christmastime. We have for a few years now taken them to that French place right near the fountains at Christmas time. We sit on the upper balcony and when it “snows” it snows right on us.
