I don’t know why, but it surprised me a little that a lesbian couple would find raising a black child as the cause of “undue stress,” apparently more so than being a lesbian couple with kids in America. You would think they’d be used to dealing with that kind of difficulty. But here we are... where a lesbian couple

She isn’t wrong. Her words:

Speaking as a biracial person. I didn’t require any more additional money than my white baby counterparts for my future care. Just sayin. Although this lady’s kid is gonna need a boatload of therapy due to her parent’s actions.

But, for a case to be considered medical malpractice, the plaintiff must demonstrate that significant harm occurred as a result of failure to provide standard care. I’m offended by this lady, not because the clinic didn’t fuck up, but because she thinks having a brown baby is a tragedy worthy of compensation.

People are saying she’s racist because part of the suit is that she’s suing for the difficulty of raising a biracial child. If the suit was just, “the shock, the future implications of giving out the wrong sperm, and the disappointment that our kids aren’t biologically related,” then I think there’d be less outrage.

Looooool right? this whole time it’s like, “that’s REALLY the argument you’re going with here? Really???!!!”

Sure. There are dozens of things to sue the Sperm Bank for that don’t involve telling you daughter that her skin color is making your life hell.

I wish her child didn’t have to live with that racist bullshit BUT I also feel that a refund doesn’t cut it when you’re given the wrong goddamn sperm for the express purpose of creating a new human being. I mean, what the actual fuck? How big a scam could these people run when you think of it?

Ah yes, I remember how readers of this particular site showed their true colors the first time Jezebel reported on this.

I watched all of them (the edited versions, some of the full ones that were released). I’m no lawyer, but I didn’t hear anyone say anything that could be construed as illegal.

My dad pulled this gem out a while ago: “do you know what the number one killer of black people is? Abortion.” I wanted to hit my head against the wall repeatedly.

Pullman is not a large town, but Pullman’s PP serves not only the student bodies of two public universities (Washington State University in Pullman and the nearby University of Idaho in Moscow, ID), but also the a large swath of the rural Palouse region. I’d be hard-pressed to name a person I knew while attending WSU

I totally see your point, but under current circumstances I think it does bear repeating. What I mean is, considering the huge push to defund PP clinics everywhere - much of which is working - we need to remind the general public that what they are really defunding are clinics that provide much-needed, everyday health

In this particular case, extremist is not strong enough. Whoever did this was a terrorist. Plain and simple. It was an attack designed to cause terror. This person is a terrorist. Period.

the worst is that these idiot fanatics can’t even hit the right target - this isn’t even an abortion clinic! nice job burning down a regular old doctors office, basically. nice job leaving the people that used this clinic, who let’s be real are more likely to be poor and not have good access to other health care

Funny thing - I passed a women’s health clinic today, Saturday morning of Labour Day weekend at 9am and 2 protesters were out there shouting their heads off before the place was even open here in Orlando.

*Sigh*

This is the sort of shit that people on the right believe which is leading to these acts of terrorism. I am pasting this verbatim from a comment on another website, one of many expressing similar sentiments:

I was hoping it would be the Kool-Aid man.
