From Today

I wonder why people would rather do business online, rather than the standard dealership experience?

Between the accident investigation and regardless of the disposition of the engine (repair or scrap) there will be lots of gruesome tasks involved.

Tesla has only no/no-go gauges. What they need are go/no-go gauges.

“annoying knob”

There is 1 CTR on cargurus for $65k. Please show me the tons of listings you know of. I would like one for msrp or near that.

Having sold on there - they’ll argue with you, but at the end of the day, it’s your car - they’ll let you list it for whatever you wish to list it for.  They’ll just probably laugh at you from the other end of their computer whilst doing so.

This doesn't remove the engines from the road just displaces them to neighboring states

This ban has been tough on individual owner-operators. My father-in-law had a hard time finding something at a reasonable price, and was only just able to find one a couple of months before the ban went into effect.

It’s like watching Hummer implode all over again.

In six months Teslas have gone from status symbols to the automotive equivalent of MAGA hats. It’s astonishing; I’ve never seen any brand lose so much goodwill for such a stupid reason before.

I once bought an RC51 off the internet sight unseen... It came in wearing Chinese plastics and CBR forks (too short). Took me a few years but I finally sourced all the right stuff... Promptly sold it and regretted it... I feel your pain.

These are awful questions for the positions I hire for. We are so low in the organization that our CEO might as well be Santa Claus, and he’s setting the DEI policies. People take vacation time when they’re sick because the PTO bank is the same so you’re really asking about the last time someone tested positive for

I hate scofflaws just as much as anyone, but this was petty bullshit.

Kirkland Tequila is good enough. They also sell limes in bulk there and some prepacked mix in a twin pack
