The Expanse, The Americans, and You're the Worst are probably my three favorite shows. But yeah.

And that's the point at which my skin started crawling.
Right, I know they're capable of it, but obviously the Donnager was at something closer to Martian gravity, or even Belter gravity. We saw what 1G did to the OPA prisoner on Earth in S1.
The voices? Yeah. That was freaky as fuck.
Bingo. If I were part of an outfit that burned the empathy out of a bunch of people — especially brilliant people — and then I had to guard them, I wouldn't want them getting anywhere near something that could kill me.
This episode didn't have the Roci going toe-to-toe with a stealth ship and Miller commanding a station assault from a FedEx shipping container, so no, it wasn't quite as strong as the opener.
We know Martian ships don't accelerate to 1G of thrust gravity — that would have killed Naomi and Shed when the Donnager picked them up, and obviously Belters are fine on the Roci.
You'd think so — then again, Bobbie broke that Earth-born marine's face with one punch, so she's clearly no wimp.
The hairs on the back of my neck stood up when I realized those sounds in the Eros data stream were voices. Hoooooooly shit.
This is the first time, AFAIK, that A.V. Clubbers have managed to make enough noise in the comments section that management has reversed course on a decision to drop coverage of something.
Also helps that both authors are closely involved with the production of the show, to an even greater extent than George R.R. Martin is involved with Game of Thrones, IIRC.
I took something different from it — CQB is a total crapshoot (with emphasis on the "shoot" part). There's a zillion projectiles that can do a zillion different things. Fred's right-hand woman (forget her name) pointed out that one shot barely missed the reactor, in which case the Roci would have been turned to slag;…
There was a scene early this episode in which Avasarala remarked that Martian marines do all of their training at 1G — Earth standard gravity — so they are fully capable of invading Earth.
Mars has a few billion people living on it, so presumably a range of regional accents (and, likely, cultures) have developed.
YAHOOOOOOO!
"I am a type of sandwich" - a grinder
Unknown.
He clearly means "Armenia City in the Sky", people.
This is a good choice.
We will never know whether the dingo actually ate that baby…
