All of the main cast are unknowns except for Danson and Bell, so I wouldn't think labor is a killer.

I don't really think Tahani deserves to suffer for all eternity just because she was jealous of her sister and boasts about her accomplishments. Nor do I think Chidi deserves to suffer for all eternity because he missed his mom's back surgery.

I think it was a last-ditch attempt by Michael and his cosmic cronies at tricking the four into thinking they were still in the Good Place without having to actually tip their hand by sending two of them to Trevor's neighborhood.

I definitely got the sense that there was something weird about the eschatological underpinnings of the show's universe — only the very best of the best get into the Good Place, and everyone who did anything bad in their lives suffers for all eternity? — but that turned out to be a red herring/maybe an overarching…

Remember how long NBC let Community run out its string? I mean, yeah, they canceled it eventually…after two seasons of stultifying mediocrity. D+ is about right. This episode was an utter mess — unexplained "twist" after unexplained "twist", with a couple of setpieces thrown in seemingly at random. The other thing that saved it was the fact that the cast of this show is absolutely phenomenal and they sold the hell out of a pretty terrible script.

Hector is also friends with his mom, which is pretty cool!
