Luceno was responsible for writing the Battle of Yuuzhan'tar, so in my mind, he can basically do whatever he wants and it will be awesome.

My favorite Wedge moment will always be him going up against an entire squadron of coralskippers at Bilbringi at the end of the Enemy Lines duology. (Close second: requisitioning the Lusankya at the beginning of said duology.)

Read the Thrawn trilogy. It's pretty much the only piece of "old EU" literature I can recommend without any reservations (even though there's plenty more of it that I really enjoyed).

Thrawn needs to be given a new canon ending, and his last line needs to be the same as his last line in The Last Command, otherwise there is no point in resurrecting the character. No. Point.

I love the oh-shit moment of when Han and Lando realize what's going on.

Thrawn and Karrde are my favorite EU characters by a pretty wide margin, even factoring in legendary badasses like HK-47, Face Loran, and Jaina Solo. So Karrde coming back would be awesome.
