Agreed. All it needs, if anything, is a Paul F. Tompkins photobomb.

@CyberneticOrganism:disqus A show about people who aren't the same size as other people? Surely only the comedic genius of Ricky Gervais can do it justice.

To-ga! To-ga! To-ga!

Take your big black cow, and get outta here.

Boating Bad.

Dammit, Youtube doesn't have a Bad Company-Berserker mashup. I am disappoint. Might have to make my own, at this rate.

Wow, what a career. RIP.

+1. It was great to see her in Shaun of the Dead as a sort of female version of Shaun (God I love that scene - Martin Freeman, Matt Lucas and Tamsin Greig being in her gang was phenomenal), and was a bit sad when she didn't turn up in Hot Fuzz (unless I missed a quick cameo).

That's some white nonsense, isn't it?

Great write-up.. I've always liked 20th Century Boy and Get It On, would be nice to go further into his catalogue.

ALLRRRRRRRRRIGHT CHILDRRRRRRREN!

For me, they served as an intro to Paul Merton, who has the honour of getting the best reaction I've ever seen on any incarnation of Whose Line. During a game of Questions Only, set at a weight watchers meeting, Merton and Josie Lawrence started off:

I agree, mostly, but Wayne Brady singing was a major part of Greatest Hits, and the Greatest Hits intros by Ryan and Colin remain the funniest bits the first US incarnation ever did. Just look at all the quotes on this page alone. A slightly deeper cut:

Oh come on, there's plenty more.

Agreed, although Stevie Grant has at least a shred of decency in him. He recognises that being an agent is a shitty job (and wants to quit, at least in the Jennifer Aniston episode) and, towards the end of the show's run, he does try to go to bat for Larry against that network fuck who hooked up with Larry's ex.

Scum-sucking asskhol! Hopink your dick fallink off!

For an even better bottom-of-the-barrel Hank, IMO, there's "The Hankercizer 200". His breakdown and pleading with Jeannie is magnificent.

I cannot WAIT for Hank's Sex Tape.

Huh. I never would've guessed that Shandling would have a good word to say about Linda Doucett, post-breakup. I guess time healed the wound.
