Even better than that, IMO, is a subsequent gag in the same episode - Lisa admonishing Ralph for making fun of fat Homer.

Where everybody knows your name…

It's that low-res because Adult Swim are trying to hide the fact that it's clearly a photo of Adam Scott in a wig.

What a lovely post. I'm sure it will be the least meritorious thing mentioned whenever people speak of him, and I know this sounds like I'm making a joke, but I really do mean this in all seriousness: getting an AV Club commenter to drop his gimmick is right up there as a measure of a man.

I seriously welled up reading this. Dammit, The Onion, you got me right in the feels.

We gotta hwinn this race…

@avclub-6a2122265ccf2e14e3ce86a1c356a462:disqus : I live in India, and those lazy Amazon bastards don't ship here. I only picked up Your Movie Sucks by the purest good fortune, in a second-hand bookshop.

Dammit, where the hell is @BlueJayLeno?

Hell yes. My copy of Your Movie Sucks remains one of my most-read books, and I've been searching high and low for I Hated, Hated, Hated This Movie.

+1. I especially like how even though his grading became meaningless a while ago (3.5 out of 4 stars to 2012?!), his writing still keeps me hooked. It's supremely easy to spend a few hours just browsing through his Great Movies reviews. Get well soon, Mr. Ebert.

Considering that (a) Animal House was an ensemble comedy (with an admittedly larger piece of the pie for Belushi) but Local Hero is probably the closest Riegert has ever got to a starring role, and (b) if not for The Marx Brothers and Mel Brooks, Local Hero would be my favourite movie of all time, I'd say yes.

Peter Reigert was great in Local Hero. Low-key, but screamingly funny all the same. Martin Mull is, of course, an American icon. As for the rest, no idea.

Hey, that's no impediment to Lipton. He's interviewed people like Conan and P. Diddy, for fuck's sake. Compared to them, Tina Fey is John Wayne.

Hopeless at interviewing guests (except for a select few - Timberlake, ex-SNL cast members, etc.), but above average at everything else. It kind of balances out.

The Colbert Nation would like a word with you.

Good God… and I thought that Owen Wilson-Vince Vaughn Google movie would be the most hilariously out-of-touch film of the year.
