Seatbelts!
I tried, gave it 15 minutes, but I'm out. The obviousness of the character machinations played as camp for a while, now it just seems lazy. And yes, real life has undercut the show, rendering the melodrama mundane and anti-escapist.
Star Wars
"Of the thousands of grill cooks who burgeoned from the Schoop’s tree, one is named Curtis Rund."[citation needed]
Film Junk and Uhh Yeah Dude fit the bill, I think. Both have been going for a decade plus, so they have a ton of old content, which feeds into the "lifestyle" idea. Neither has tinkered much with format, and rely on old friend rapport that you can't invent.
Rock Lobster
She's so good it's going to end up costing her, but still. She basically directed nine out of the ten votes, with Tai being the only possible exception.
My guess is Andrea and Cirie fed Tai's name to Sierra once they had the Zeke vote locked down, and she passed it to Brad and Troyzan. This would have 1) thrown them off the Zeke scent so it wouldn't blow back on them, and 2) been a plausible cover story to tell Zeke himself, that they were blindsiding a minority…
Emma Watson used so many facial expressions there were none left for Patton Oswalt.
WTF with the extraneous umlaut? A tool he keeps too close at hand?
All true. Sierra may have even said as much, although we didn't see it. Still, she seemed at that point to view herself as the dominant player in the dominant alliance, so I'm not sure how credibly the weak sister argument would come across.
That final three offer was completely out of the blue — there was no (onscreen) evidence of any prior rapport among the three of them that I can remember. It smelled like an attempt to shore up the support of the lowest alliance member. I gave it a full Aubry eyeroll.
Indeed.
Could be — on the other hand, micro-market advertising has been a huge boon to local MLB and NBA broadcasts. They're bringing in a lot more money that way than they used to.
If that stands for Australian rules football, I agree.
Holy hell, what a last-word showdown this is!!
Cool, thanks. If you're referring to location jokes, okay…I'd cite Bachman's party as an instance where some absurdity or another was probably a specific reference, but even those jokes can be gotten on different levels. Maybe I'm just putting myself in the room watching with venture capitalists who were "there when…
I'm game, lay one on me.
Other than the gender way.
