Good choices, when I saw the Boxster I knew I was right when I told myself a week ago it would be a great car to buy used.

I would take either of these just to be a prick. Probably I'd take them to the mall too

Could somebody think about the alloys???

I don't know if they lie or it's just due to testing conditions. In the end I'd rather ask people who own the car how good's the mileage instead. They'll lie a little to but they won't tell you their Jetta 2.5 is super efficient or their 540i is giving them 30mpg... Or maybe they will?

Can't argue with that

now that you mention it... I still disagree on something. I'd say from a couple of years ago to these days, manufacturers are actually making very efficient engines, and are proud to show that with realistic ratings. TDI and TSI is an example. Newer diesel MBs as well.

There's always hope. Just buy it and hide the headlights off your view from the drivers seat then

I think those headlights make the new design. It's smaller because there's no need for lots of chrome.

is it true that it's smaller than the NC? I hope I can fit inside but I also hope it's smaller. I hate how small cars like the MINI start growing and become boring.

They seldom are a good baseline. I'm not here to defend the E39, haven't even driven one. It probably has worse mpg than what this people claim and what the factory claimed. I'm just here to say those ratings are BS most of the time. They are always "under controlled conditions". Never real world.

And you believe ratings??? lol

I think where it sounds the most similar is when it starts to rev. Those first 2k RPMs or something sound like a Ferrari.

It does sound like a Ferrari. People listen to the tone but if you pay attention, the "rhythm" sounds like a Ferrari. Just bassier, lower pitched. As you said, mainly because of exhaust piping. It's longer and has different silencers.

I know you edited already, but for future reference, an easy way to tell is looking at the pistons. They are positioned like in an I4 in each bank. The outer ones (1-4) go together and the inner ones (2-3) move together and reach top and bottom at the same time

First guy was the fastest. Loeb wasn't as smooth. He's an excellent rally driver in general though

Forver? Really? Haha no worries, funny anyway

I think I already posted this, but I'll post it again as a service for the Jalopnik community which, surprisingly, can't tell an A4 from an A7.

I'll help you.

Sometimes I think people say Audis look the same just because they read it on the internet. I can tell every Audi apart, no problems. Tailights and headlamps are different in all models, grill is different from the bigger ones in an A4 or A3. A7 has shapes inside its tailights and big stop light. I don't know it's
