I can't believe "If I Stay" is in here and "The Fault in Our Stars" is not. Ugh.

The season finale is one hour long.

And then she starts the acceptance speech saying: "Well, I got it" *smiles*

It's not the title what matters, it's the continuity in the plot throughout the seasons. There are only two reasons why a series can be considered a miniseries: 1. It has short seasons (a few episodes), as you noted on "Luther" or "Peaky Blinders" and 2. The seasons don't develop under a same plot.
