Well, I think the premise is sad. Yes, these futuristic films of yesteryear (except for Nemesis - the filmmakers obviously chose to use a dunebuggy vs floating around in a shuttle) could hardly imagine what we have today with our smart phones.
The Hawks are a very good team who plays in a pathetic division, but when you go to playoffs, your strengths will be stopped.
I think our military superiority is a reflection of our society. We have invested in our weapon technology and our soldiers and we have been able to be relatively civilized.
