The black vote is why Biden is the nominee. South Carolina was the turning point. The majority of primary voters were black, and the majority of them picked Biden. This gave him the momentum and changed the entire direction of the primary he had up until them been losing.

The Democrats didn’t really take anyone’s vote for granted in nominating Biden. Black people showed up en masse in SC and overwhelmingly voted Biden, which gave him a wave of momentum into super tuesday.

I rapidly clicked through the slides so that I could comment about how you should stop doing these slideshow articles. I know you get to sell ads for every page, but it’s just a bad layout.

Some Leftists, (liberals are not leftist by the way,) see Biden as nothing more than a pause in the rightward shift selling our souls to capitalism. A 4-8 year pause before the next Trump finishes the transition of the US into an authoritarian state.
