also remember that this movie came out a decade ago. It was visually stunning and the first major film to feature 3d, which seemed at the time like the future. Ridiculous amount of hype and it was a movie you really had to see in theaters in 2009. The visuals hold up remarkably well tech-wise.

It was a technological phenomenon at the time and the first movie to really do 3d. movie theatres around the world invested in 3d technology just for this film.
