Its much more difficult when you have to split between cards and cash, many restaurants might let you split between 3, maybe 4, but what about 10? Splitwise + Venmo makes splitting group expenses SOOO much better I don’t know why anyone would use cash, so inefficient.

95 year olds pay with checks sure, the rest of us not so much. Problem that I had in Euripenis the number of places that only accept cash, especially in Italy. Also, I usually pay with my phone now, didn’t see many places in Europe that would accept Apple/Google pay
