Yes, I understand how a CVT works, my point is that with their only being ONE gear there is nothing that you can do to get more torque out of it other than slam on the gas and wait. And wait you will!

Exactly. I have an old Toyota corolla with a manual that I use as a beater and its PERFECT for that. Driving it around SF is like driving a go-cart, plenty of power to get me up to the 25 mph avg I drive when in town and it's actually kinda fun!

Where did you get that its a normal automatic? The Versa in the US only comes with a CVT, the article states " In Europe and Japan, the Note is only sold with inline three cylinder power connected to a CVT transmission".

Amen. Worse still is its a CVT transmission, which should only be used on Vespas, not cars expected to travel a highway speeds....

Have you driven a Versa with the CVT? It is possibly the WORST driving experience known to man. The thing is already underpowered, but coupled to that gearbox makes passing on the freeway basically impossible.

I think that the front is awesome, but those square tail lights just rub me the wrong way... And was it really necessary to have FOUR tailpipes, I think that it looks more SEMA and less production.

I don't see the problem here, I think if anything we need more nudity in America, time for us to get over our fear of T&A and D&B. Also good on them for picking a range of body types and not the typical blonde Vegas booth model.
