Odds for Beric, Thoros, Freys yet no mention of Arya (Hound, too though I think this plays out differently). You JUST saw her headed back to Westeros two episodes ago.

It's been foreshadowed to death. At this point, I hope it doesn't happen since it won't be the slightest bit of a surprise.

I don't think she dies but she is clearly being confronted and her odds are way too low compared to Littlefinger, Jaime, etc. that we all but know aren't going anytime soon. The fact that her odds are the same as Jon's is laughable.

Yes, but the "old rumor" is presumably about Aerys' hidden stores.

I'm pretty sure the oddsmaker doesn't actually watch the show.

As usual, there are many illogical odds but the line for the field is ridiculous. I probably would've put any of the Freys in the number one slot overall. Qyburn and Pycelle are also both in there, too and we know someone is getting stabby stabbied if it's not Kevan. This continues to be the worst of the GoT posts.

Elvis Costello is right there.

The premise should've worked IMO but you're right. Look at how many great HBO shows like Six Feet Under, The Wire, The Sopranos, etc. didn't start out with many established stars or pedigreed creators. The competitive TV landscape has certainly changed in recent years but the actual writing and directing still matter

He's not necessarily the last of the giants in Westeros. Though, it seems likely that he's the last of the giants we'll see on the show, at least.

Martin! What if they cast young Tommen as Martin? O_o

Also, the percentage of the production budget that went to the lead on-screen talent on Friends must have been way, way, WAY higher than that of GoT. You build three studio sets once and use a backlot and that's pretty much it vs. creating an almost entirely new world, including filming on location around the world

Have any premium cable shows ever even been syndicated? Most of them don't have that many episodes. Maybe Sex and the City was? I forget.

Euron's kraken will see to it for you.

I wonder where Robin and Lord Royce are going to be in all of this.

I was afraid Ramsay was going to pull a Mountain when Jon was on top of him. I though for sure he had a blade on him as he did with Osha, with Jon's sides completely exposed. I would've even liked to have seen some hint of this with either him unable to grab it before getting knocked out, or one of Jon's pals having

I didn't say it made sense, but we didn't see him leave with them so one would presume he is still here. What sense did it make that the Nights Watchmen didn't aid in the battle? They aren't guarding against the Wildlings any longer. Are they really protecting anyone against the Others?

I keep reading this but I don't think it's true. Both the giants and the direwolves are real (actors in prosthetics and real wolves). Most of the scenes with them have involved simple forced perspective (it's why the giants were shot from below in several scenes and why the direwolves often didn't look very big).

Not necessarily. The show seems to imply that but Manse only says that they were last of an ancient bloodline, not necessarily last of their species. There are said to be others that the show will probably not deal with.

Kraken horn.

Ghost stayed at Castle Black when the recruitment party left. They didn't return there after they left and it doesn't look like the Nights Watch joined the battle.
