I see a lot on here about people are perplexed at how successful Pink still is. Australia fricken loves her, we consider her one of us and this is why...

If I were a diva?

To get started, here’s mine, as thought of right now at this very moment and subject to extreme change:

Dear Jezebelles, today was the best day of my life.

That is a very good point, about ectopic pregnancy. As far as I know there’s no way to tell whether it’s ectopic or not without an ultrasound, and for now that can only be done at an actual clinic of some kind.

I loved molly ringwald too, but there was something about Winona, you wanted to go smoke a cigarette behind the gym and talk about The Smiths.

Why do people perpetrate online hoaxes? Why do people shoot from a 32 story building? Why do people vote for Trump? Why do people throw a kitten out of a moving car (my foster cat)? Why do people abuse loved ones? Why do people drive PT Cruisers? I just don’t know anymore. People are crazy, that’s all I got.

Ladies and Gents:

So much this. ♥️

I’ve always admired Tom Petty* but hadn’t thought I was overly acquainted with his opus. Boy, have these threads proven me wrong: you are absolutely right — so much of his music has formed a tapestry for having been raised in the seventies and eighties.

you made me cry, lauren.

Sometimes when I’m listening to Billy Joel, I think about his inevitable death and sometimes I literally start crying.

I saw The Shins over the summer and they closed the show with American Girl and it was one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen. I saw Tom Petty the summer after I graduated high school and he blew me away, I meant to catch him on the 40th anniversary tour this summer but couldn’t make it. I’ll regret that forever

So awesome use of song in Silence of the Lambs

Driving along, that song comes on, crank it up, belt it out. Middle age retreats and indestructible youth revives for 3:36 minutes.

And an awful day gets worse.

I loved his music, and I loved his attitude. See the“Runnin Down a Dream” doc if you haven’t already - it’s a wonderful mining of his and his band’s work.

And you can’t forget his work with Stevie....

a true fact is that American Girl is one of the best songs ever written, I’m going to listen to it and cry now
