Come on, there’s not a single bit of innocent bystander smeared across the hood…
Fun story. About a month ago it was one of the first sunny days of the year so I was riding my motorbike around town. I saw a cool KTM go by on a cross street so I followed him, wanting to say hi. Well, after about a mile or so he pulls into a subdivision and then into a driveway, and I reluctantly follow, wondering…
I see exactly how this went down..
Having seen a ton of video of people terrorizing neighborhoods and taking over streets, and sidewalks, while riding unlicensed ATV’s and dirtbikes. I understand the message the city is trying to send.
Anybody feel better now?
And nothing of value was lost.
I was literally writing this post while getting fired. A new experience.
that’s one argument that it was merely a matter of central banking. but the reality of how the Japanese cars won goes way deeper into Japanese culture and assistance from it’s government. We were in a dead heat with Nissan at the time, trying to compete for every Japanese performance car buyer in the market. I really did like the Diamond Star lineup then…
So I'm sitting on the bleachers at the NOPI drag races. I'm sitting in a section surrounded by rednecks (Nopi? Go figure!).
I'm posting the Starion not because it's slightly more than 20 years ago but because eve in the 90's, I would have rather had a proper sports car instead of the over weight pig that was the 3000GT.
I REALLY wish we would have had these in the states.
Whenever I pass by my local Mitsubishi dealership, I look at the 'HUGE SALE!' and 'MASSIVE BLOWOUT' signs and think the same thing I say to myself each time I'm greeted by the wrinkled old cougar who winks at me every time I walk into Wal-Mart:
"Maybe 20 years ago, toots."
