Don’t forget putting up bike lanes in the most congested areas in a city that rains for half a year. I’m sure everyone loves biking in the rain.

I’m curious - most traffic in growing cities is due to higher net worth individuals with their cars and chauffeurs. Most “middle-class” people in emerging economies such as Vietnam, Cambodia, et al, and even in quasi-developed economies like Thailand and India, still use motorcycles.
1. make cities too expensive to live in
Also hard to take the author seriously with misleading statements like this:
This actually comes primarily from one study and the person who conducted it has since updated their position. Without a change in population, the added traffic of having good roads is about 10% because there aren’t infinite cars waiting to get on the road. There’s just people who are no longer avoiding roads because…
I guess this is the all-too-predictable response to the response Dharm’s “I bought a car and it’s improved my life, but that doesn’t fit my narrative so I have to feel bad about it” story from earlier in the week garnered…
The one singular thing that will help black students the most is simply having a father that gives a damn at home. It’s unfortunate that we keep trying to fix the symptom, instead of the underlying cause of the problem. And the cause isn’t “racism”.

Content colonizers? Seriously? Talk about semantic satiation. Words used to have meaning. You seriously are likening some dumbshit teens stealing TikTok dances to the systematic violent takeover of entire countries? NO wonder you think you’re so oppressed, you forget what oppression actually is.
By facial expression alone, Mme. Macron is my gotdamn spirit-animal right here.
Mr. Bieber’s outfit is largely fine
