As a kid, I had asthma. I watched a lot of TV at night, partly due to fear, partly due to how hard it was to breath (every breath was a struggle), and partly due to to the medication (as it made my heart race).

Loved his as the author/cop on Barney Miller, definitely one of the better cop shows.
