As a Ganondorf player, the only thing that matters to me when breaking your shield (usually by way of the Axe Explosion Kick of No Mercy), is turning around and executing a beautiful Reverse Warlock Punch, sending you flying off to your death at ~25%.

The original seem thinner especially compared to her... other more curved regions. At least in the new design you can no longer see her rib cage, so I would say it's an improvement.
