yes, there are these blue markers called pokestops. You are able to get items from there(pokeballs, eggs, items, etc.). The pokestops replenish a random amount of items during the day(a couple minutes), so it’s not like you’re restricted to a pokestop per day or anything like that.

I don’t see the need to, poke stops replenish pretty quickly, so it’s not like you’ll run out of pokeballs soon.
