I’m on Kotaku all the time. It’s a great way to procrastinate at work. I can catch up on all the gaming news, get some hot takes, learn about what it does/doesn’t take to make the games that form the hobby we’re all here for.
Sometimes G/O has had a bad run of it and people leave because of management, circumstances

Wow, this was a really sweet post. As a long time Kotaku reader, this was really touching to see all the past personalities I’ve read so much come back and all say something about him. I’ve missed seeing a lot of these names all in one place. What a heartwarming tribute. Rest in Peace Mike.

I think one of the greatest compliments I could give to a reporter is that I often found myself reading articles on topics I wasn’t actually interested in, only because I saw his name attached to them.

He always gave a perspective that was interesting, even if I didn’t care about what he was writing about. He made me

This was a beautiful and emotional read. Thanks to everyone who participated, and to whomever put this together. Mike is right up there with Ryan Davis as someone who I never knew personally, but who’s passing hit me way harder than I expected. The love for what they did was infectious, and I’m never not going to

I don’t cry when celebrities die. I don’t even really cry when friends and family die. This was a fucking tough read. RIP, buddy.

Thanks for this. I know folks have been hard on you guys for not posting, selfishly I was one of them. If it’s any consolation, it’s because his work touched so many people throughout the years. He was so visceral about his life and his health, that his death provoked a similar reaction in many of his fans. Mike was

Think I’ve teared up three times reading this site: Mike’s struggle with gaming addiction, Mike’s story about being in a coma, and today reading this tribute.

So conservative stands for hateful bigots who want to bomb people?

So the whole point of this place was to harass and scare people off the internet, but then as soon as they’re outsmarted (as they claim they were targeted, which lead to them being shut down) suddenly it’s unfair and an injustice?

Nazi bastards like Joshua Moon and his ilk can fuck right off into the nearest bottomless pit or black hole and remove themselves from the universe and existence forever.

Before the MAGA cult starts whining about the First Amendment:

Its fun watching people work overtime to explain why they aren’t pieces of shit.

Ah yes, the readily available PS5. The solution is to buy hardware that can play the software because the hardware that supposed to already play the software doesn’t work due to the software itself. Perfect solution.

It’s probably fine. If Donald and Goofy were there too, then Sora would be too OP through the power of friendship. This is the only way everyone else can stay competitive.

This is a blatant rip off.

“succumbed to the gay agenda” … LOL. That almost makes it sound like some lizard people conspiracy. There’s still a very, VERY long road ahead for Japan regarding all things gender, orientation and identity. It’s good that video games and other media have been slowly incorporating a higher level of diversity in a

“..Let The Gays Marry”

...isn’t “The Gays” largely seen as a derogatory term?

I mean, he is Andy Dwyer... I have always had a hard time seeing him as anything other than that. But apparently his voice acting is quite good, people have told me his performance in the Lego Movie was excellent. I just don’t see him playing Mario successfully. But to be fair I don’t really care, either.
