Listen here, I'll put my Rs and my Es wherever I darn well want to.

Same way for classic American muscle, I just didn't know if it was still used for newer muscle cars.
Sell the Eclipse and buy a Miata. Please.
Chrysler had a couple cars they marketed with a "392," and the new Mustang Boss has a "302." I thought that bringing back CI was pretty cool. However, it sounds kindof lame when I talk about the 109 in my Miata, lol.
We "tried" to convert to the Metric system in the U.S. It was laughable. They tried to teach it in schools. Metric makes so much more sense, but I grew up with Imperial. The only reason I have some concept of a kilometer is that I run 5Ks.
I thought HP was a measure of work, and kW was a measure of power. For this reason, I've seen a wide variation in kW to HP specifications.
So, let me get this straight:
You're telling me that, if you drive a car in Europe without EU plates, you can't get a parking ticket?
I'm surprised Tesla hasn't made a statement about the work they're doing to address the issue. I would think that would make sense when your stock price is dropping precipitously.
If there's a silver lining it's that Gilles is going on a tour next spring to "focus on putting butts in seats."
I want to be "director of rear-wheel drive and performance car design."
There's a couple of older morons in my neighborhood who speed up-and-down my street in late-model eclipses. Their choice of cars (third- and fourth-generation) show that they know nothing about cars. It's justice enough for me knowing that they drive the lamest "sports cars" ever manufactured.
Nope, you postfaced with "if international" ;)
Yeah, the only pictures I could find of the original one were really small.
The jerk probably drives a V6 Mustang.
"Started from the bottom..."
I don't know about "dangerous." The engine in the Miata is actually under-stressed and was originally designed to develop three times the horsepower in a rally application. The cooling channels from that original engine design remain. As long as you keep the engine cool and well-lubricated, you can rev it all day.
Who needs torque when you can just wind it up all day?
I've been on the NA forums quite a bit, and it seems there is a lot of variability in observed fuel economy - what might be the source of that I'm not entirely sure. I seem to get towards the high-end of economy on the highway, but then deal with the low-end (about 21-22) in the city.
Lol. That's just how my tow-mounted license plate frame was designed.
