There are plenty of nice cars which are not expensive. I'd hardly call an Infiniti a "nice car" IMHO. All it means to me is that you bought a more expensive Nissan (which is a real, non-made-up brand).

I actually didn't start with a manual, I wish I could have, but we didn't have a car with a manual transmission when I was 16. I picked-up a five-speed Miata NA so that I would have to learn how to do it!

They don't come standard on new BMWs though, I'm almost certain. The E30s came with them, but after that, I just don't know.
