I love his short news segments at the end of Rock Center, because most of it is good news.

This is the fastest Ambulance I've ever seen in-person.

Definitely! I wasn't aware I had been awarded any Internets.

TVR is Hostess.

The original Alfa 33 Stradale had a curb-weight of around 1,600 pounds, so I'd bet Glickenhaus is basing his own model off of this.

....

Is the "energizing" hot massage function anything like BMW's old "Gentleman Function?"

I was just at McLaughlin about 11 days ago, and wanted to test-drive the WR Blue one they had there, but the salesman told me "I have it on good authority that one's spoken for." It must have been yours then!

It's nice to see another Quad Cities Jalop! Did you get it from McLaughlin?

I always try and find some legitimate reason to buy one, but I know it's probably one of the stupidest things I could do. This video doesn't help...

I feel the same way. I'd secretly like to see a tuned 6-cylinder in there, so it sounds a little better an would be a lot more like the 2000GT.

1968:

This was my initial response, but I guess there's two ways to look at this: (1) They're going to ruin a good thing, or (2) this is going to make the original that much more desirable and valuable. I'll probably be getting a BRZ sometime soon here, so I'd like to adopt the latter mentality.

Why buy an E30 when you could have one of these?

What was that about "the key needing to be 'in' while you're driving?"

Nike Vintage glasses, about $80. Don't know if this is the same exact style, his might be from an earlier year.

Carbon fibre above all else.  It would cut-down on weight, which would increase fuel efficiency (which normal people seem to care about) and improve handling and braking distances for enthusiasts.  Everybody wins here!  It's just a matter of time until the cost of this technology decreases dramatically.

My family asks that I NOT go out in a snowstorm in my Roadmaster; they don't understand why I would want to put myself in such danger.

Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale chassis no. 75033.001.  It was Alfa's show-car and the only one to feature the double-headlights.  It's still in Alfa's collection, and IMHO the best-looking of the bunch.

The 33 Stradale has to be the most beautiful car ever made.  It's also probably the best-sounding car.  I'm partial to the first one they built, which is the only one with those double-headlights.
