I have over 200K mostly highway miles on a PC. Best money I ever spent was $200 on generic Amazon sound deadening and some food speakers. “It's a momentum car"

I’m saving my future bux for the day these hit the used market. I'm hoping the depreciation will be epic.
I have the same situation. Got a new work iPhone issued during the pandemic with no fingerprint reader only passcode and face recognition. It works poorly with a mask on.
I know there's a few electric ride on mowers. I saw an electric greens mower on a lawn truck last year, but I'm sure those are very spendy.
20 inch deck. My yard is very flat. I have the self propelled Ryobi 40V with the matching trimmer and blower. I have 3 batteries for 11.5Ah total. Takes me about 2 hours to trim, cut and blow.
You might be disappointed. I was tired of my garage stinking of lawnmower. I haven't been disappointed.
When the light comes on. My biggest tank is just over 9 gallons and that's on a PHEV. The last tank got me almost 1100 miles.
Get an electric mower. You won't be disappointed if you don't have a huge yard.
Have had an electric Ryobi for 2 summers. Have just less than 1/2 acre. Needs 2 batteries to mow. Keep the blade sharp and it works well.
You’re welcome. Testing and documenting tests is my day job. I’d like to get a similar JL diesel and test them back to back. I had a Golf TDI for almost a year then got a Prius. I saw 16% decraese in raw highway fuel mileage (I have spreadsheets somewhere on an old USB stick). The Prius was better in city driving by…
@ironic... Ifyou are still reading this thread, I did an experiment during a little road trip yesterday. I did a highway trip around Atlanta with the following conditions and results. Ambient temperature between 68-82 F, starting altitude 1081 feet, roof off, 3 occupants, began with full charge, average speed 68 MPH…
Never start with that sticker!
Had a Jimmy briefly with the same issue. Bought it to get from one part of the country to another. I intended to sell it when I arrived. On the way it soaked the underhood with motor juices in a BBQ parking lot. Fixed it with a sending unit that didn’t send. Then, shortly after this fix it decided to make radiator…
I ziptied an alternator on in a Walmart parking lot. Pried the belt tight with the jack handle. This was at hour 6 of a 7 hour drive on a Sunday night to start a new job the next day. That car was also my house that week. Oh to be young again!
This is a hard one to calculate. I have another PHEV and a standard hybrid. Doing the MPG on the standard hybrid is easy using the trip meter and a gas pump. The PHEVs both run on electrons first, then switch to gasoline. If I just did the trip meter mileage divided by gallons used, the “gas” mileage would be over 100…
3 X car insurance + 3 X smog + 3 X registration + 3 X upkeep + 1 X car payment + 1 X off-site storage is more expensive than 1 insurance + car payment + registration (no smog for 2 years on new car). My SO works in program mana8 and made a spreadsheet with charts. I'm sure it's probably right.
18 each way. So far 26 miles is the longest I’ve driven on battery, all low speed, no A/C.
Have had a Sahara 4xe for about 3 weeks and 1000 miles. It is replacing 3 vehicles. If you work out the $7500 tax break, the cost is a wash.
My SO gets to work and a little way back on a charge. It’s 18 miles of mostly 65+ roads. Her 4xe replaced a CR-V, an old beater Dakota and sometimes a Prius (but that one still sits in the driveway).
My SO has a Sahara 4xe and it's quick. Probably in the 6 second ballpark. Not 4.5 seconds.
