I’d rather buy a Corolla based MR2 than a Croostrek engined 86. Sign me up for the MR2. I’d imagine they could do the MR2 for $30K.

I took a road trip in a 1st Gen Ridgeline. It's like a road trip in an Accord. I feel that it does ride better than a BoF truck. It is enough truck for most needs, not wants.
Too true. My SO is probably going to buy a Wrangler this year. The Gladiator would be cool, but it's too long for the garage. Had it been a single cab the same length as the unlimited Wrangler, she would probably get that one. So, I'm sure Jeep would probably sell 4 or 5 single cab trucks before they would cancel…
Neutral: my vote is for an Explorer/Firestone documentary, and how it has changed the landscape of dashboards that now can have a blinking exclamation point in an upside-down Griff helmet. All because the downfall of full-service gas stations that check tire pressure during refueling.
I once heard someone discussing the F35 program: "It was never designed the be the best fighter, it was designed to be the best program."
I have worked on both. You are totally correct.
As a former military member and current employee of a government contractor, I appreciate being on the other side. I work as a test engineer making sure products are designed to and meet military specs. The torture I’ve put products through is fun for me. I’ve read mil-specs cover to cover and it annoys me when…
Tesla should not be giving other car companies de-contenting ideas. (I'm looking at you Nissan and VW)
And $5000 might get him a 'vert that just needs some seals replaced on the top.
I drive a Toyota, so I’m sure I have an open recall to cut down my driver’s floor mat and ziptie it in place then sawzall my accelerator pedal into a stump. But seriously, I check for recalls every time there is a news headline about Toyota recalls. I don’t know how I have time to post on Jalopnik.
It does happen. Does that count against them as 1 bad mark in a JD Power survey? I’ve read some reports that show infotainment problems (like difficulty programming a phone) to be the same hit against a review as a no start/drive condition.
Co-worker's new LR was towed yesterday. It still has a temporary license plate.
If someone built 2 seat hard-top convertible, plug-in hybrid I'd buy it.
My parents have bought only new cars since the late '70s. Last year they went to buy a new Ford and bought a used one instead because Ford decided to stop selling the C-Max.
Building Tesla parts in Texas where you can’t even buy a Tesla is like not being able to buy Jack Daniels in Moore county TN. Wait, nevermind.
You forgot to add Saturday labor in your calculations.
I'd argue that if you still want a front engine Vette, the Camaro is the car for you.
If you want a rental car in black, I've found Arizona in the summer time the perfect time to find that car.
Tom, I’m looking for a vehicle that would strike up a conversation with all my dad’s friends. My C6 ‘vette with chrome wheels just isn’t cutting the mustard. What car should I buy?
I miss the COTD and the questions of the day.
