A bit. I did look at a 2 year old leftover new 2017 CT6 PHEV. I chatted with the salesman and asked about the super cruise option. He mentioned that it was not available with the hybrid. He also mentioned that they weren't marking down the price on a 2 year old leftover car. I don't know why it didn't sell.

No, not really. The Evora uses the Toyota 2GR-FE with a Lotus ECU. The Lotus redlines 800RPM higher and makes 8 extra horsepowers and 12 extra torques. Lotus also goes crazy with the block and has a 4 litre supercharged version with 430 horsepowers.

I had a rental CT6 for a business trip 2 years ago. I'd buy a used one if it was a PHEV and had super cruise and was red and had the giant sunroof and had depreciated to jalop affordablity.

I bought an RSX 2 years ago and the most expensive single part I replaced on it was driver's seat leather. This one is NP by a slim margin.

Nice! I’m trolling the local CL for a 3rd gen Toyata RAV4 Sport. They have a freaking Lotus V6 in them!

You wouldn’t download a car (interior update) would you?

You don't always need to take off your gloves. Every set of gloves I've bought in the last few years has had a capacitive finger or two. The other option is to keep a phone stylus in the car. That's a hack for the car infotainment design, but it works.

I work on touchscreens IRL. They can be made to work in -30C without much trouble. Getting the current tech to work at -56C is a bit of a challenge. Actually, it has gotten harder as the backlights have gotten more efficient because they make much less heat than just a few years ago.

Like some of the above posters, I’d like a smaller truck. I don’t think that’s going to happen. So, I’d take a Transit chassis cab (plus an 8' truck bed) with the electric motor between the rear wheels and batteries under the floor. That should eliminate the van doghouse engine cover and give the front seat passengers

I’ve had an upper management type ask me to move my vehicle from in front of the building to behind the building in the back lot. It was a total beater though and I was a junior engineer making a good salary. I had recently purchased a house and needed a truck for things like mulch, building supplies, etc. So I bought

*limited by tire friction. I'm sure even smaller brakes can lock up the wheels the first time from any legal speed.

What’s all this about brand loyalty? I look for the best car for my needs that meets the total cost of ownership.

I don't know what it is but every time I read a Trump quote, in my head it sounds like Miss Teen 2007 from South Carolina.

I guess that makes the final assembly percentage of bought in the USA Teslas 100% built in the USA. It's a shame that Tesla is banned from selling cars in some states when they seem to be the most domestic.

I love that Michigan is home to the “domestic” auto industry. What percentage of bought in the USA Tesla’s are built in the USA? How does that compare with the Big 3 (2.5)?

X-90 4wd. I'm off to autotempest.

As for the why or why not; It's been really nice to commute and get 50 MPG. It left me money to buy a fun car with a manual. I used to be so anti-commute appliance. Now I've come to like having a car to commute in and a car to have fun with.

I’ve been commuting in a hybrid for the last 7 years. I've got almost 200K miles on it. I'll probably replace it this year with a Volt. I routinely drive over 500 miles in a day and my typical commute is just a bit over 40 miles. My office is planning to add chargers in the parking lot during the remodel this year. I

No, apostatizing kinda works there.
