Last year, I helped a friend swap his 20" Cadillac XTS wheels to 17" wheels (for an Impala, I think). It made a huge difference for the better in ride quality.

Real wheels have sidewalls!

There are many things I look at in vehicle pricing. If I don’t look at the costs to move the Tahoe about, then it might seem like a good deal. I drive about 35,000 miles a year, these days. So a new Corolla hybrid should run me about $1750 in fuel. I drive by myself nearly all of the time so I don’t need 6 empty

I’d like to add postal and local delivery vehicles.

“Madewell, we don't sell pants with pockets."

I couldn't even finish reading the article because as Kristen was describing haunches or some such, I scrolled to this advertisement. Yep, I get the feminine beauty now.

At that rate he needs to have the ever so popular phrase, “$20K invested, my loss is your gain."

A sheet metal business in a town I used to visit regularly had multiple signs like this. "Gluten free cold rolled steel, free range 18ga stainless plate, etc". I love it when businesses take themselves so seriously.

Do you know anything about the XUV? It probably won't open.

They don't use kerosene heaters?

GM (and most other American manufacturers) have been making the pickup worthless for years by making them so big and tall that you can't even load them without a ladder. I'm not surprised by this.

No kidding. I drove over 700 miles this weekend. One stretch of 255 miles with a fuel stop then almost another 100 miles before stopping for a bite and going 120 more miles. Friday was almost 500 miles with only about 15 minutes with the wheels stopped. I’d like to have an EV, but I’m probably going to get a PHEV inste

I’ve almost stopped coming here because it ripps through all my data and battery on my phone.

CP. This project has good bones, but the skin leaves much to be desired. To bad the guts are on the outside.

Groupe PSA has been eyeing North America for a bit. If what I read in local news is true, they have a small group of employees working downtown.

Does iseecars use sticker price for their base estimate? When was the last time you saw a Frontier trading for anywhere near sticker price?

I’m sure someone will make a car sized tinfoil hat in the future. /S

That should wear out the clutch pedal instead. FWIW, I occasionally drive a company V8 manual transmission box truck in Atlanta traffic. Usually I just leave it in 2nd gear because it’s got enough torque to start using 2nd and it will go to about 30MPH. That's stop and go traffic for me.

I’ve 2 Toyotas, a Nissan, and an Acura in recent memory. I think I could take apart about 80% of those cars with 10, 12, 14, 17mm wrenches and a #2 Phillips screwdriver. I’ve taken the whole interior out of both my current cars with those 5 tools, a pair of pliers, and a plastic pry tool.

This! Just this. The only person who services my cars with as much care as me is me.
