Or the GMC Envoy XUV.

A Suburban is a wagon. Fight me!

Jalopnik is a new surprise every day!

Don’t while about the sound of the electric drive system. It sounds great!

I’m replying here, but this goes with the whole thread. Losing $500M is not the same thing as not making $500M. Yes, I understand that GM *could have made an additional $500 if the strike didn't happen, I guess...

I served. Yes, driving the boat is correct.

Been there, got the t-shirt.

A submarine. I know there's got to be other naval drivers here.

I’ve ridden in an X5 that did it as well. It wasn't as bad as the Buick, but still not great.

Good question. That would make sense. If that car (Buick something-midsize-SUV) had the ability to turn on the A/C when the engine was stopped, I couldn't figure it out.

And I thought I was really disappointed when I drove a Kia Soul.

How many people have not died because the air is no longer actively killing you in the LA area?

On a summer trip in Florida, I had a black rental car with a start stop system. I couldn't find a way to turn it off. When I stopped so did the A/C. I found that if I just creeped forward a bit the car would start as well as the A/C. Not really doing what the designers of the system intended.

I’m not sure that anyone is seeking out a Kentucky built Avalon over a Japanese built car. Is it any wonder that all the brands with no historical ties to Detroit have selected states like Alabama and South Carolina to assemble their cars. I do know that Honda builds quite a few cars in Ohio but am uncertain as to

American consumers aren’t willing to pay a dime extra for built in the USA cars? Please don't tell that to people buying Ohio and Alabama built Hondas, or the Toyotas built in Texas or Kentucky.

Alodine is a favorite coating my company uses for the airplane/helicopter parts we build.

One of my co-workers has a 2000 Prius in that aqua color. Has a replacement battery. He’s been driving it 16 years on the second battery.

The leaf has similar package space to the Hyundai beater my rural delivery driver uses. She drives it from the wrong side like you said above. I can’t imagine that a RHD Leaf would be less safe. There needs to be an exemption for this kind of import. Or, have Nissan bring the RHD Leaf (or E-NV200 van) with only 1
