Yes, that was a buying point, and my last Corolla had a timing belt, that I changed 5 times while I owned it. I’ll probably never own another car with a belt.

I looked at a Yaris when I bought my Prius C. I’ve got almost 200K on it and have only done normal maintenance (oil, filters, tires, wiper blades, light bulbs). I don’t know how long my battery will last but I know it’s easier and cheaper to change a battery module than to change a timing belt.

Here’s my boggle with that. I’ve lived in a large city center and at that point in my life an EV would have been perfect for all my short trips, except I had no place to charge it every night. I now live in a somewhat rural area about 20 miles from work and now have a garage with a power panel right next to my car.

Neutral: EVs will be tethered to their charging infrastructure. The standardization of DC fast chargers can't come fast enough. I'm still waiting to see DC fast chargers "Sponsored by Dieselgate".

With how connected new cars are, we are destined to see more recalls. The data was not present in the past to point to a common problem so quickly. Even if my local dealer repaired an issue on my car, and another dealer fixed the exact same issue, the two might not show exactly the same in a manufacturer database.

Neutral: If Renault and Nissan get a divorce, does Renault get to develop a Z-car on that sweet Nissan FM platform? Or does the FM platform predate the merger and belong wholly to Nissan in the pre-nup? Is it possible that Nissan is waiting to birth another Z because they want sole custody?

And once you engage the caterpillar drive, you'd probably never back into an electric pole at high speed.

Yeah, probably not getting a round American woman in a Viper. As for the RV, what are you going to drive from state to state, without papers? And Dalton comes after Brosnan but before Barry Nelson.

And Ramius was played by the best Bond.

But what about a pick up truck, a round American woman and an RV?

No papers" sounds like something Bond would say.

Agreed, but the 9 is only 20 inches longer and best I can tell it takes at least 26 inches in length to add another row of “comfortable” seating. I'm probably pining for the wagons of yore with the 2 feet of overhang after the rear wheels.

I grew up in the tropics. Everything I learned about chimneys, and chimney sweeps, I learned from Mary Poppins and the night before Christmas. But I think this guy is here to service her flue.

LOL! I recently had a piece of 16 year old Acura leather replaced. The shop I went to said that new Ford leather would match better. The new Acura leather would look out of place.

Can any of the 3 row vehicles be ordered without the 3rd row these days? A friend of mine recently got a CX-9 and I find the 2nd row a bit cramped. To me, making that car a 2 row makes more sense. No folded seats taking up storage, no compromised rear seat legroom for a 3rd row that isn’t there. Is it something I'm mis

It’s a Honda, right? Does “Why did you turn!” apply?

I specifically ask for only 78% nitrogen in my tires now to lessen the impact of releasing 100% nitrogen if I have a puncture! Think of the environment!

That works as well. Audi still plays by those rules, mostly. BMW and Mercedes have strayed from the path though.

In the mid to late 90s I had a Nissan B13 SE-R and a co-worker had one of these. I drove it once. I don’t know the price difference between my SE-R and his POS, but I couldn’t understand paying any dollars for that Tiburon.

I’d rather see a name than a jumble of letters and or numbers. The only Cadillac I can identify is the Escalade, I don’t think I could put a model name on either any Infinity or Acura.
