Beat me to it

Panoz Esperante GTR-1

That sticker is dangerous and inconvenient, but man does he love Nitto Tires.

The Turbo and/or GT3 are much closer to the type of vehicle the MP4/650S are. The CGT was in the same realm as the P1 is today when it was introduced.

Wouldn't be the first time GM got jiggy with McLaren

"I wish a supercar maker would do what Porsche did in the past"
"starts in the $50k range and goes up in price"

Boy, do I have JUST the car for you!

The batteries are a stressed component of the Model S's unibody, so I'd imagine they contribute to the overall strength of the vehicle greatly. I can't imagine Tesla has designed a way to turn them into a crumple zone, but more of a backbone for the car to maintain strength under stress.

How do you get to the trunk in your bed if it's full of stuff?

If money was no object, I don't suppose why not...

"...they did a steel wide body? Why in the eff would they not do it with aluminum to save weight?"

Cheaper, easier to work with, easier to weld to the already steel body. I think it's great that they did steel, it shows more care and attention to detail than fiberglass or pop-riveting some aluminum and bondo.

I have a set of their regular hand wrenches and a magnetic pick up tool made by them and they both get the job done nicely. Amazon reviews on their torque wrenches are generally 4.0-4.5 stars so I suppose they're not too bad. One guy claimed it was +/- 2.5% accurate.

Needs a chassis refresh too, but only God knows what that 80,000cr actually did in-game

My grandparents bought their first house in '64 for $17000... $18500 was by absolutely no means a bargain in the 60's. The GTO had to have been one of the most expensive cars in the world at the time.

We're still waiting for when one of the world's most complex steering wheels shows up on an a regular car you can buy, for a regular driver who still has trouble figuring out the steering wheel. But just in case you want to start prepping early for that first, glorious day, here's your guide to all the buttons:

Why do people buy targas instead of convertibles?

Dirt Every Day, Ignition, and Hot Rod Garage are really, really good shows too!

The tools are nice, but the included checst looks top-notch. [Craftsman 182 pc. Mechanics Tool Set with 3-Drawer Chest, $115 with code SAVE15. Must join Craftsman Club for free to get the price]

See, I always thought that the Plymouth cars + the Dart were the real pony cars in the Mopar lineup. The Challenger and Charger always seemed like Malibu & Chevelle fighters to me, but then again, I was 23 years too late to the muscle car party.
