Her performances (at least at awards shows, I haven't seen her live) are ALWAYS contrived though. It's literally always embarrassing and awkward, and seems like she wants to look so dramatic, but the emotion seems rehearsed and acted rather than genuine.

as someone who didn't read the books or watch the movie, I think her directing it would be AMAZING. the only way for me to get any enjoyment out of this franchise is to hear about how terrible it is, and the consensus on the first one was basically meh, could have been worse, which doesn't do anything for me. haha.…

I don't understand why they gave her so much control. That's practically unheard of for authors of the books that are adapted to screenplays/movies, plus everyone knew her writing is terrible.
