Ah, you're talking about the leader of Black Sky (played by Dylan Brenton ). I'm talking about this faction leader who had a few lines, but isn't credited for some reason. He was talking about the Inners divvying up the Belt, and I couldn't understand his nasal way of speaking at all.

I find her variant of the Belter accent to be the best. It's staccato at times, but her cadence can sometimes be melodic. Plus, the glottal fry she adds to it is distinctive.

Ah, okay. The dialog was vague; I had to re-watch that scene:

I get that they were transporting everyone as quickly as possible in undifferentiated groups; I'm saying that he could have lied and implemented his bigotry using an easily justifiable excuse. The scene as presented was just spiteful vindictiveness.

I don't even understand why that hauler picked up non-Belter refugees. He could have just lied during pickup and said a subsequent hauler would pick up Inners to take them to Earth/Mars, whereas he would only pick up Belters and take them to Tycho/Ceres. Is efficient routing just not a valid excuse for passenger

I miss having Amos be funny. Last season he was just a blank-faced meathead. This season, they've given him comedic beats that are usually reserved by other shows for the awkward non-human character. I was really enjoying that progression.

… heat doesn't just spread through empty space the way light or radio waves does …

"the air slows down the transmission of heat" isn't true

I suspect that Dawes and Cortázar are still on the station. Diogo was the distraction to get the Roci away from Tycho. With that military vessel out of the way, Dawes can … do his thing. Tune in next week to find out about his thing!

I think the idea is that Avasarala had the foresight to work with the OPA via Fred Johnson, which every other Earther would have considered to be treason. The general consensus seems to be that her pivotal decision to trust Holden ultimately paved the way to averting catastrophe. No one else in the room would have

I think Zack got confused between Avasarala's spy, Cotyar, and Protogen researcher Cortázar and so decided to split the difference.

Are you gonna print out a model? Or are you gonna take the 3D meshes and use them as a base for a more detailed render? I really wanna see what a fully-painted model or a highly-detailed render looks like.

You should post pics of your Roci when it arrives! Also, if you do so, make sure to include an object that everyone can use to gauge the scale of the model (like a soda can, or a ruler). The Shapeways products have an exciting amount of detail on them, and the full-color Roci looks really, really good.

Le sigh… Once again, I can't watch live tonight. I'll have to drop back in later.

AVclub didn't follow The Expanse last year …

Naomi: We need to give the ship a new name to complete the override.
Alex: Screaming Firehawk!
Holden: Yeah, let's advertise that we're a gunship.
Alex: Flying Alamo.
Holden: No.
Naomi: Give me something, please.
Holden: Rocinante. It's Spanish …
Amos: … for workhorse. I like it. I knew a lady named Rocinante. She was good

I also feel that telling the fanbase to split itself across the two websites just results in fewer page views on any one website. IGN recently dropped coverage of this show, and we had to nag AVC to resume coverage this season, all due to low page view numbers. It's already a shame that this show isn't getting the
