Yeah, my hook into this show was that Peggy was going to be working against SSR from within the organization. I'm a fan of mole/infiltrator type of stories, so when she stopped working for Stark after the blood vial reveal, I was concerned my interest would wane. BUT THEN! Black Widow picked up the mole/covert agent

The actress provided an interview detailing the intentions behind the character. No, it was never really broached in the show itself, so it's more of an Easter egg for comic book geeks, I suppose. I like that the show played it out this way, because it enlarges the universe without excessive info-dumping.

I can't speak to the writers' intentions, but I try not to let previous roles influence my expectations for the current role. I took Angie at face value, because narratively-speaking, it's nice to have a normal character friend serving as audience surrogate. Unfortunately, Angie wasn't developed beyond comic relief

Yeah, the danger of having a character with multiple identities is that they cease to be real after a few ID switches. The only way to make them believable is by also showing their core identity to which the audience can anchor themselves. It's how shows like Alias and The Americans are able to stretch out their

There are other factors than just ratings at play…

"Peggy! It's so swell to see you!" *Black Widow attacks* "Isn't this fun?!"

You're welcome! No, no; it was my pleasure. No need for effusive displays of gratitude.

Yes, she was checking both wrists, but the episode made a point of zooming into the right wrists each time (a couple of times when Jarvis was slapped, and the final time when Peggy reached for Dottie's cuff). Again, not a big deal, but I did find it jarring that Peggy would fixate on the wrist that doesn't typically

Found a screenshot which shows either left or right wrist, but not both at once. With Dottie, it seems she had her left wrist bound, though that doesn't preclude a shift to the right wrist at some other point. I just found it odd that Carter noticed scuff marks on the left side of the bed, but reached for Dottie's

Yeah, I'm fine with the scars clue. I just felt there was a bit of a disconnect between the scuffs she spotted on the left side of the bed, and the wrists she was checking. I only really noticed the discrepancy because it was the pivotal clue.

I don't recall both wrists being bound. It's possible that the cuffs aren't always on the left wrist, but in this episode Peggy noted the scuff marks on the left bedpost. If that's all she had to go on, the likeliest guess would be left wrist.

I thought that as well, because I sleep on my stomach, but I think that's an atypical assumption. I don't mind if Peggy decided to be thorough by checking both wrists, but she seemed certain it would be the right wrist. When she began to pass out from the lipstick, she specifically grabbed Dottie's right cuff.

Well that escalated quickly. Peggy went from being trusted enough by Dooley to pursue the Black Widow hunch, to handcuffs. Exciting!

Yes, apparently it was @avclub-8053607f355bee572fb58bfe0f16dd09:disqus. He was proudly diddling his balls as he ate it all in that toilet stall.

I think you just lose your deposit.

Stan: "… says that she was about 5'3", 5'4"?"
Gaad: "Don't rub it in!"

I liked the flippant nurse. I hope the ending implies she's gonna be recurring. "Adventure is what it's for…"

^__^ She's already stealing stuff out of the science rooms and archives (and moving files around). I think some food swapping is tenable, as long as she doesn't do something dumb, like replace pastrami with Spam.
