Sadly, I missed out on the Charles Bronson thread, and only arrived at that discussion after his posts were deleted. *cries*

Remind me of the 3rd person? I only remember the two who died from Narvik A and melted in their body bags. I can't remember which Narvik B victim has died to the actual disease.

To this day, I'm still bitter with The Usual Suspects, because I was young and naive, and I truly thought the ads and commercials were asking me to solve the mystery. I went to the movie thinking I was gonna work out the reveal along with the characters … but by the time the halfway point arrived, I was frustrated by

This is my exact experience. Just being told there was a twist, my first random guess was the correct one. It didn't ruin the movie for me, because I was more interested in the ghosts and the horror than the mystery … so I guess I didn't care.

Yes, that is my headcanon, but I don't know if it's also the official canon. I'm taking it as the likely explanation, and I'll leave it at that unless the show says otherwise.

I agree with this interpretation, and said as much in last episode's discussion, but it's still just conjecture. We're basically guessing that Sara's decision matters enough to Ivo that he would do this. As @alsowilloughby:disqus mentioned as well, even if this is canon, Ivo should have fixated on Sara, not Ollie.

Okay, just so we're on the same page: you want to make proclamations about how the AV Club should grade shows, but no one's allowed to poke at your premise? Well, there's that sparkly personality that handles opposition well. I've noticed it on other sites, where you leave such wonderful gems like, "D

Thanks for the chronology. I'll watch in that order.

Ah, that's a good surprise: it didn't occur to me that Wally would be the JLU Flash. I guess the show preceded Barry's return in Final Crisis.

The humor is promising. I've never bought into the Errol Flynn Robin Hood outfit, but I should be able to look past that if the character is great. I'll look into it.

Awww, why was YJ excluded from the club? I could see why Teen Titans GO wouldn't inhabit the shared universe, but YJ seems like it fits in with the rest. Is the Legion of Super-Heroes animated series outside the DCAU as well?

Young Justice is not DCAU?! O rly… I didn't even realize this was a thing. I just thought DCAU was a catch-all term for all DC animated projects. I watched Green Lantern: The Animated Series as well, but I guess that is also not DCAU then?

He was actually responding to a post by @winafredburkle:disqus, which seems to have been deleted. I think she was banned for being flame-y.

Awww, I think they banned Winafred. All her posts are gone. I sort of miss her already …

No, I have not. I've heard good things, but I came aboard the DCAU with Young Justice. I take it Ollie comes off well in JLU?

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the kind of bizarreness that happens when fantarding creeps into a discussion.

"I mean, the guy has me on a platter and he won't shut up!"

That's true. Audience goodwill goes a long way to suspend disbelief and gloss over unconvincing production. Early in the first season, before Felicity became a regular, the reviews actually did snark at her hacking. Eventually that faded out as the character rose beyond her hilarious hack jobs.

Yeah, Dexter's grades were actually pretty high in the early seasons, which is why I used that as an example. If this site only ever used one specific show as a benchmark for other shows, then the grading system falls apart.
