Sansa is the best. I also think that she is the most apt character in terms of channeling the 'feminine mytique'- she was raised gently, learned her lessons well, mastered the arts she was expected to, grew very beautiful and suffered for all of it. Her upbringing promised to save her, but didn't. She excels at

He and I have that in common.

They do kill babies in the book! Also puppies. Both! http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Unsullied

Just examples of weirdness!

Apparantly he can swallow a whole mackeral.

Or at least the Weirdest. He has a staircase called 'Blackbeard's Passage" where he hangs portraits of his Wifelets with their heads cut off! He can also swallow a whole mackeral.

Alive and kicking, it turns out- I misread the Wiki. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2012744/Marquess-Baths-74-girlfriends-war-Bitchiness-catfight-chicken-casserole.html

My bad!

Apparently he is sometimes called the Loins of Longleat.

FALSE ALARM he is still alive- he just passed on the tittle in '92. Or something... I can't make heads or tails of this Wikipedia page.

Sadly, he died in 1992. He was very, VERY married: he had over 72 concubines, who he referred to as his "wifelets" and housed them in cottages all over the grounds of his estate. He was also an amateur artist and personally painted images from the Kama Sutra all over the inside of the house!

Also important: get a load of her future father-in-law, the current Lord Bath! Sometimes he wears Renaissance hats (but not in this picture).

I was frightened too! But it turned out just fine- they gave me some nice drugs and I dreamed that Britney Spears was giving a concert outside the window and the doctor was a lady with really really small hands and afterwards I got to eat mashed potatoes for a few days! Mine hadn't erupted either— really the hardest

Agreed about Arya- she's not a feminist hero, she is a violent little psychopath. So is Dany sometimes :-( Strength does NOT equal violence and death. I like Dany and Arya, but neither would ever suit to rule a kingdom. Dany needs to learn diplomacy, not just vengeance. Eddard knew that peace was as powerful as

I hope that Sansa and Tyrion someday reunite and become King and Queen. Sansa could help Tyrion get over some of his bitterness (she believes that people are essentially good) and Tyrion would encourage Sansa to wake up and smell the roses. Diplomacy and plotting united- they would be the perfect royal couple!

But some people ARE intimidated, not necessarily by the intelligence but also by the presumed privilege that comes with it. I currently attend an Ivy, and 0nce had a boy toy from my summer job come over to stay on campus for a few days, and the poor guy was terrified. He was a drop-out and was so, so scared that my

Oh my god... thank you for pointing that out. I would never have gotten it! I was actually thinking "dang, that steampunk Bobba Fett is kind of lame..." But now I see that it is brilliant.

Aaaaand now I have to change my pants.

Daenerys calls herself Queen, not princess!
