who sells a regular cab truck these days?

1991 GMC Syclone not recommended? I am very disappointed.

I have a vintage LEGO phone. I would win top honors, people would be talking about it for generations, generations I tell you! “did you get a chance to see that LEGO phone, it is the standard against which everything is now judged!”

I would read the shit out of a story about Karl Benz and his disdain for horse butt.

as of now there are approximately 250 people that voted nice price. I scrolled pretty far into the comments, not a single one of the comments that I saw backing up their selection.

nice price, not for me, but nice price for someone.

with comments like this, you can B18C your way out.

I would be safe in saying that 94% of trucks in the area I live have bed liners, either bolted in, or sprayed on. and these same bed liners are not scratched at all. bunch of brodozers.

seriously, for the dollars alone I save on gas from not owning and driving a truck 365 days a year for the 1% of the year I help someone, I can pay for every person to drive a uhaul for the day, and buy my own beer at the end of the day.

this is not surprising news. 38% of respondents to surveys do not answer truthfully.

regarding your point about seeping god knows what into the local water supply. you do realize that a driving car is doing FAR greater harm to the environment than one that is sitting idle, seeping god knows what into the local water supply.

go buy a home in a neighborhood with a HOA. if you are willing to risk living in a neighborhood without a HOA so you can do what you want with your house, you cannot at all be disappointed when someone decides a rusting car is yard art.

if I were at the point where I could spend a lot of money to live in a nice hood, I would probably end up spending the extra money to build a fence high enough so the people who live next to me cannot see what I am doing on my property.

or move to Texas. cars don’t rust so quickly here as they do in the salted streets of Michigan, land is cheap, and you can stack as many cars as you want in your driveway, just don’t block the sidewalk.

the law is very clear, you have to adhere to minimum code, which is a running engine (doesn’t say it has to be attached to the car!), 4 tires (don’t have to be inflated!), a working battery (charged, or discharged?), and license plates.

I know you said it is a matter of opinion, but the only way I can make the Supra look better than the GT86 is if I squint so hard that my eyes are actually closed.

the 0-60 times of 70s and 80s sports cars is what I use to justify my purchase of a BRZ whenever anyone tells me it’s slow. I’m all like, hey, BMW makes fast cars right? the 88 M5 = 6.2 seconds.

after reading the comments, it’s clear that there is no consensus on where the ‘best’ car culture is.

sorry, I was assuming a reverse grid, and how to keep drivers from sandbagging the qualifying round so they have a better starting grid position.

points is the answer. there are x number of points available for a race weekend. award a percentage of the available points on Saturday for qualifying, then award the remainder on Sunday for the race.
