I know enough about these model year corvettes to know there needs to be more info provided about the transmission. probably still a NP for the right buyer.

yup, my buddy had a 7 series with the upgrade rims (read bigger rims). he had a flat every month from a pothole. he sidegraded to an audi RS5 just last year, opted to not get the bigger rims. no flat tires from potholes yet. didn’t change his driving style, just the sidewalls of the tires exist and can do their job.

don’t opt for 20" wheels. sidewalls are part of the suspension.

    bestcar rumor? ha.

    I miss champ car.

spring rates will change the vertical loads, the lateral loads are side to side action that is introduced during a turn.

I remember that one, I still wonder what his desired results of steering input were?

I am excited to watch the cars break more. watching these current cars go over rumble strips with a lot of lateral loading, you see just how much of that lateral strain the tires absorb. so now there is going to be less area for the tire to absorb that lateral load. it will be transferred into the suspension, which

hey! Nascar has been on the leading edge of fuel injection technology! They’ve been using FI for at least 7 whole years now!

I wish they would just get away from different ‘engine modes’. the computer systems should be the same as the rest of the setups. you get one engine map for race day. this is set before qualifying. changing the engine mapping would be similar to changing the suspension setup, grid penalties.

France and Italy working together to make cars? What could possibly go wrong?

if I’m buying a vette it’s because I want to, not because I have to. if I want to buy a car, I can wait till the one that is optioned the way I want comes in. so yeah, you’ve got a vette sitting here that’s optioned at 90k, you can do two things to make a sale, order me the 60k optioned vette, or discount the price on

I’m confused on the first gear assertion, you state that after the warranty is expired you should be able to get your car fixed anywhere, and that’s in line with the Subaru message at least. all they are saying is that if you get your car repaired somewhere random inside of the warranty period will void that part, or

I think it also has to do with timing, people aren’t buying cars right now. granted if you’re in the market for a $50,000+ sports car, maybe you are immune to the cycles of up and down, but it’s just not a good time to be selling a car.

3 criteria is being generous. I suspect it’s one piece of criteria:

white tie, black tie, black tie optional, cocktail, business formal.

I think the more discussion there is over gas mileage standards, hopefully, people will start asking why vehicles labeled as ‘truck’ get to have lower standards than vehicles labeled ‘car’.

Down in Texas (and surrounding states) there are huge gas stations called Buc-ees. They have all the trappings of nicknack shit no one ever needs, fudge, and clean (very clean) bathrooms. Consider this an extension of your home when you get to Texas. And visit the following places:

yup, and their mobile phone platform will always be a thing too!

    I am heartbroken for Lewis.
