They should’ve brought that sonic scream dampener into the picture a few episodes ago. I would’ve understood her fearing him if she knew she didn’t have a way to defeat him, but she didn’t find that out until last night.

I know I have to handwave the legal stuff on this show, but, a witness drops into the trial through the ceiling - a witness clearly neither attorney knew would show up or was remotely prepared for - and not one person, including the attorneys, thinks of moving for a mistrial?
How it should’ve ened:
Solid episode. I’m hoping the season will finish strong now, in these last 3 episodes, but it’s not enough to save the disaster of this season as a whole.
This was a pretty good episode - I enjoyed it more than I’ve enjoyed an episode of Arrow in a while, even with that annoying love-to-hate opposing counsel.
Considering the shoddy foundation it was built on it was definitely one of the best episodes of the season and I’m surprised they were able to make it work as well as it did.
Rene is back. Who asked for this little motherfucker?

Writing NTA out completely would be a better way to make it an instant success. I don’t want to waste any more of this season on their whiny, petulant idiocy. I certainly don’t want another season of it.
NTA are the worst but you know what’s gonna be worse, when Oliver inexplicably apologises to them. That’s surely what there building to. First Felicity then Diggle and to cap off the shitshow Green Arrow will apologise to 3 rank amateurs who are barely capable on their own but somehow believe they know better than…
The Black Siren Redemption Arc continues to be the anchor weighing this show down.
Let’s ignore that the press should be asking big questions about the Laurel Lance look-alike that just tried to blow up CCPD HQ (Heavens knows the Arrow writers are) and focus on the problem that Quentin himself pointed out in this…
I’m glad you’re enjoying it!
Our most hated things are reversed! Malcolm used to be the winner, but despite how pretzel-y the plot got to accommodate or how stupid they made Oliver to keep him around, he never made me feel this level of rage (although I’m not quite sure why).
I tried a drinking game where every “hoss” gets a shot, I died.
What if Team Arrow just reforms without Ollie?
Why the hell is Not-Laurel afraid of Diaz? She lived in a world with Zolomon running WILD and slaughtering people on a whim (when not saving them as Jay). Total monster, no soul, WAY worse than anything Diaz could do or come up with. Bad writing.
Sigh. Not that I’m buying it, but if you’re that scared of Diaz, Black Siren, just scream into his ear. That worked on Vigilante just a few months ago. Did you forget already?
- There were a LOT of people on Twitter who were pissed that there was no Felicity in this episode. I personally find it ridiculous that she didn’t have his suits tagged and for her to sneak into the bunker anyway.
The fact that people keep apologizing to Rene, Dinah and Curtis actually infuriates me. It makes me angrier than any other idiotic thing this show has done over the course of the past 6 seasons, and it’s done a lot of idiotic stuff. Why is Diggle so cool with them messing with his implant? Why does he care at all…
