Actually, this comes from a much older story from the Silver Age, an Imaginary Story in Superman #162 in 1963, where Superman invents a device that splits him in two. With two Supermen, they pretty much solve all their problems and one marries Lois, while the other marries Lana. It’s silly and very, very Silver Age.

DC is the frelling worst. “Hey we have an amazing, Eisner nominated, woman led Wonder Woman series that gives us a fresh and great new character. Screw that, lets just focus on the male led takes on the iconic Feminist female hero.”

Yeah, I’m glad it’s in the works and that the Amazons are getting some love, but my first thought was “okay, what women are working on the title?”

Too bad its not by the creator of The Legend of Wonder Woman, the only Eisner nominated Wondy story. Plus its great when Wondy creative teams have some women on them.. D: I am mildly hopeful this will be okay though.

100% agree. Supergirl is a substantially more enjoyable show on the CW. Sure, some of the retcons were clumsy and GOD do I miss Cat Grant, but the creativity and fun of the show flourishes so much better here.

Ahhhh this show! I really liked Season 1 but Season 2 is soooo much better. They fixed a lot of what was wrong with 1 and Alex’s story line is indicative of it.
